A few random things

These shoes were delivered by my favorite brown truck on Friday. I'm usually not an impulsive shoe buyer, but when I saw a picture of these on the internet I knew I needed them. Tennis shoes with a little bit of heel for jeans, too cute! Can't wait for some spring type weather to wear them.
Reports in the news say they are worried there may be some flooding this year due to the unusually wet spring and the amount of snow left in the mountains for the spring runoff. The reporters may need to take a drive around to see that flooding is already happening. My favorite path on the parkway is under water on the right side of the rocks.
The Ogden River is already at it's banks just below Washington Blvd.
And the river in the canyon is raging. Please no springtime tubing folks! We're no where near spring runoff peak, lets cross our fingers our rivers can handle it.
My favorite find of the day. I would have never noticed this old house on the side of the road before I became interested in photography. I had to make a U-turn when I saw this. I've driven this main road in Eden countless times and have never noticed this cute old house.
After a day in the rain and snow taking pictures, what better way to enjoy a Saturday night than with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk. Yummy!
