Time sure flies by

It doesn't seem that long ago that I was taking newborn pictures of this boy. Now all of a sudden six months have flown by and it's time for his six month pictures. Little Connor is the funnest kid to take pictures of because all you have to do is look at him and he'll smile and giggle at you.

I love all these pictures but this one is probably my favorite just because of the nostalgia of this wooden box. Do you think the nice people that loaned us their barn would mind if it went missing?

Did I forget to mention this post may be a little on the picture heavy side? I can't just take pictures of Little Brother, Big Sister needs to get in on the action too. Even though that natural smile is a little harder to get, she's still a cutie.

Now a few sibling shots

and it's a wrap! Notice that feather in her hand, it came from this barn owl.
I was so excited to finally get a picture of an owl even if he was faking us out that he was asleep. After several attempts of making loud noises to wake him up, he decided to open his eyes and fly away as soon as I put my camera down.

A Best Friends Son's Wedding

The celebration of two people committing to love and honor each other forever, is such a blessed event for all parties involved. While all the attention is focused around the bride and groom there are lots of other stories to tell.
The childhood friends that basically grew up together like brother and sister reunited for this occasion.
The teenager who is wearing her first pair of high heels and experiencing that brutal high heel initiation.
The tables, each decorated to detail the love between bride and groom.
Families having the opportunity to document this day as everyone is joined together.
The wedding photographer who is under the ultimate pressure of capturing every magical moment.
Parents having the chance to catch up with old friends.

The little brother capturing candid moments on film.
The wedding cake sitting as a centerpiece of this union.

The opportunity for adults to act just a little bit silly.
Congratulations to a best friend's son and his beautiful wife.

Pepe Le Pew

He looks so innocent and cute, but accidentally trap one in your garden and you instantly go into panic mode! After our lone attempt last year to catch that corn stealing raccoon, only to end up with Pepe Le Pew; one would think Bob would not want to attempt that same fate again. Oh how time makes you quickly forget about such things. This year the corn stealing is worse and Bob wanted to put an end to it, well we're two for two for these cute little black and white creatures. Bob has a soft heart for all living creatures and had to call Ian to help him out of this stinky situation. Thank you Ian for handling that blanket covered cage while Bob had to walk away. Will that trap be reset tonight? I'm curious about the answer to that question too.

It's been a little slow in blogland lately. I sent my camera away to get cleaned and calibrated and can't believe how bad I'm missing that thing. I'm crossing my fingers it comes back home soon!
