Remember the Bug

Remember this project? You can read about it here. This bug's life is going to be back on the project list this summer. Last summer's project occupied all of Bob's time, but now he is getting a little anxious to get going again.

Right now he's got his creative mechanical mind at work trying to make his own suicide door hinges. Here's the definition in case you are not familiar with that terminology.

Warning, if you decide to stop by in your nice clean clothes while Bob is working on a project he may put you to work, just like Chase found out.

This process is going to be full of trials and errors.

Not quite the right fit here.

Getting a little bit closer on the other side.

Good thing he still has his donor cars to practice on, it needs to be perfect before moving on to the Heinz '67 Bug.

Macro Monday

Things are blooming around our pond and it's a great place for me to do more practicing with my macro lens.

It's interesting to see the insects busy at work from this close of view.

Have you ever seen a butterflies tongue? Look closely at the picture and you'll be able to see it.

I have always loved looking at butterflies, but up close gives you a whole new perspective when you look at their faces, not so beautiful!

Did you notice the sun in that droplet? Looking through the macro lens you get to see a whole new dimension of life. Oh yes, I'm in macro love!

MIA

I've been MIA from my blog lately, but I'm still here

 paying attention to beautiful sunrises

and super moons lighting the night sky,

noticing the beginning signs

of homegrown crops,

and deciding sometimes life needs to slow down a bit so I can hang out and enjoy it!
