Over UEA weekend Brigette invited me to join her, Sophie and her friends, and another mom horseback riding. Now growing up in the country you would think I would know a thing or two about horses, but the truth is I've only actually been on a horse a handful of times. When you consider all of the variables of Logan Canyon, perfect fall weather, and fall leaves I had to say yes. Oh, to be a teenage girl again and show up playing the part of a cowgirl totally worked for them. I on the other hand do not own cowboy boots or hat, so my Merrell hiking shoes and sunglasses were going to have to suffice for this outing. 

Now I'm not sure what it is about this picture of Brigette, but I just love it, she must have been a cowgirl in some other life.

I have to give kudos to our guide for taking the 3 pictures above with my camera, he did a great job. 

These girls are just too cute!

I was often reminded of this ride for the next week every time I sat down, but the residual pain was well worth it!
